At the present time, Millennium is doubling our capacity and seeking to hire experienced High Die Machine Set Up Operator and Mechanic to join our growing and profitable company that are looking to advance their careers. Set up and monitor High Die operators to specified speeds and production rates
Read and understand job jacket to adjust and set feeder, feed board, side guide, and front-lays for appropriate operation for the job
Test samples for correct paper properties and characteristics before production
Compare production output to samples provided to evaluate accuracy of operation throughout production
Inspect and monitor equipment for safety issues and request maintenance as needed
Develop a proper understanding of process setup, adjustment, procedures, and equipment capabilities order to operate the machine with excellence
Individually follow and promote all safety policies and procedures
Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to guarantee quality performance
Record and document all required process information
Keep workstation clean, organized, and safe
Ensure that production, quality and efficiency goals are met

Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years experience
Typically requires a minimum of 4 to 5 years of related experience in a operating and maintaining technical equipment within a manufacturing or industrial business environment
Must be skilled in making adjustments to powered machines using hand tools
Ability to conduct accurate measurements using the proper tools
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
